Summer Solstice Sound Bath & Labyrinth for Adults
With Terrie Arfi
Enjoy a peaceful and transformative experience to celebrate the Summer Solstice with an outdoor sound bath and a meditative practice using quartz crystal bowls. The vibrational frequencies and sounds produced by the bowls promote deep relaxation, stress reduction, emotional release, and overall well being. The most common way to experience crystal singing bowls is through a Sound Bath where various bowls are played around a group of people laying down. The harmonious blend of sound and silence soothes the mind and provides a gateway to deeper self-exploration. Wear comfortable cloting and bring a yoga mat and pillow. Chairs will be available if you need. In the event of inclement weather, we will move indoors.

Youth Solstice Kijiji Experience
With Terrie Arfi and Kimberly Williams
While adults enjoy a meditative sound bath and labyrinth walk, youth will be guided through a kijiji (meaning “village” in Swahili), a playful but meaningful exploration of the summer solstice as a celebration of balance. The solstice is a time where the sun’s energy is at it’s peak, but we’ll be learning how to stay grounded and calm within that energy through a small sound bath exercise, hands-on activities like sun prints, solar stencils, and rhythm and movement games as tools for inner balance.
The celebration will close with a light snack and moment of reflection creating a parallel experience that helps youth connect to nature, and their own inner rhythm.
