Q: How do I register for a class online?

A: To register for a class, search for the class ID, click on the class in the catalog, or browse classes under the class tab. 

Once you click on the class, it will take you to the registration and login page. If you have an account, you can login here. If you do not have an account, you can click the link at the top of the registration page, fill out the information, and come back to this login page. To create a password after creating an account, put your email address in the "Forgot Your Password?" box at the bottom of the login window. 

If you already have an account but have not logged in on our website before, put your email in the "Forgot Your Password" box and follow the instructions to create a login. If you have a membership, it will automatically recognize it if you use the same email address associated with your account.

Once you are logged in, you can register and pay the class tuition if applicable. You will receive a confirmation email shortly after registering, where you can double check that all of the information is correct.

If your class is virtual, you will receive the Zoom link in your confirmation email. If your class is in-person, verify the time and date. Once you arrive for class, we have staff that can direct you to the correct classroom. 

 

Q: What are your class cancellation policies? 

A: Refunds and WBCA class credit will not be issued for cancellations less than 2 full business days before the class start date. Refunds or class credit will not be issued for missed classes except in extraordinary circumstances. See WBCA's full class policy here.

 

What are your current COVID-19 policies in the classroom? 

WBCA is following all safety guidelines, including:

    • Masks are required for everyone who enters the building regardless of vaccination status.

 

    • Our building is not open to the public except for classes

 

    • Hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes will be present in all classrooms

 

    • Air purifiers are running in each classroom

 

    • WBCA staff will be wearing masks at all times when programming is taking place.

 

    • If a teaching artist is sick, we will cancel the class

 

    • If any student, staff, or teaching artist tests positive for COVID-19, all affected programs will be suspended for two weeks

 

    • Students will receive full credit/refund for any cancelled classes

Q:What is a material fee? 

A: A material fee covers the cost of materials supplied by the instructor for your personal use in class. On the first day of class, bring your material fee, payable directly to the instructor via cash (exact change) or check. 

 

Q: How do I find a supply list? 

A: Supply lists can be found in the class listings in our online catalog. Browse the catalog for the class you would like to take, and if there is a link under the description titled, "Click Here for a Supply List," you can download or open that supply list for your class. If the class does not have the link in class listing in the catalog, supplies will be provided. 

 

Q:How do I register for Individual Clay Open Studios? 

A: To register for Individual Clay Open Studio, please contact the front desk via phone, 651-407-0597, or email, wbca@whitebeararts.org. Tuition for an Individual Clay Open Studio session $41 Member/$51 Non-Member (Per Day), $15 if enrolled in a regular clay class in the same month.

Q: How many galleries does WBCA have?

A: WBCA's largest gallery is the Ford Family Gallery.  Information about this gallery can be found online at whitebeararts.org/exhibitions

WBCA also has gallery space in the Great Hall and work displayed in the Community Studio. Please see the front desk for more information and location within the building.

 

Q: Is there an entrance fee for attending an exhibition?

A: No, there is not a fee, however, donations are greatly appreciated.

 

Q: How many exhibitions does WBCA host each year?

A: The exhibitions that WBCA host annually are: Northern Lights Exhibition, Plein Air: Into Nature Exhibition, High School Visual Art Contest, and the WBCA Members' Exhibition.
