Learn to draw our mysterious state bird, the common loon, in colored pencil on tan-toned paper. You will be guided step-by-step to learn about the practice of drawing through close observation. Explore shape, composition, layering, blending, and drawing basics. Take-home handouts are available to assist you in practice outside of class. Bring a sense of curiosity, adventure, and a desire to tap into your creative side!
