Week Seven: July 31-August 3
Register for Imagine Art by week. You can register for a week of all morning classes, all afternoon classes, or both for a full week! To register for a full week, you must register for both the morning and afternoon session of a week. Please double check that it is the correct week and age level for your child before registering.

Grades 2-5:
Morning Session (9:30 AM-12:00 PM):
Tuition: $176 Member/$220 Non-Member
- Day 1: Design an adorable little fairy house with polymer clay smooshed into a ceramic or glass votive in Polymer Clay Fairy House with Erika Arndt.
- Day 2: Let’s make cards for birthdays, thank you or any occasion in Printmaking Cards with Pamela Hanson. Design, carve, ink and transfer images onto folded cardstock with matching envelopes.
- Day 3: Make a gorgeous or wildly crazy bouquet of flowers using colorful duct tape and a few other simple materials in Duct Tape Flower Bouquet with Erika Arndt. You’ll make rose, chrysanthemum, and lily flowers to create your own bouquet.
- Day 4: Fairy tales are an excellent way to explore imagination and fantastical elements in writing. We’ll start by reading a couple of short fairy tales, talking about what we think fairy tales are, then write a fairy tale of our own in Let’s Write! Fairy Tales with Amber Guetebier.
Afternoon Session (1:00-3:30 PM):
Tuition: $176 Member/$220 Non-Member
- Days 1-4: Come make colorful plates and bowls, using texture, carving and painting with underglaze in Play with Sgraffito! with Beth Lunsford. Paint your favorite picture in clay!
Grades 6-8:
Morning Session (9:30 AM-12:00 PM):
Tuition: $176 Member/$220 Non-Member
- Day 1: These door hangers are a fun way to create abstract art in Paper Icosahedron Printmaking with Aidan O’Neil. Use printmaking to create pattern designs.
- Day 2: Learn the art of cane-making to cover a vase or votive with kaleidoscopic patterns and designs in Polymer Clay Vase or Votive with Erika Arndt. Polymer clay is pre-colored and low-temperature, so participants get to take their creations home on the same day.
- Day 3: Learn to create a little sculpture out of cardboard in Cardboard Sculptures with Aidan O’Neil. Test your artistic skills with the many possibilities of this material.
- Day 4: Make a gorgeous or wildly crazy bouquet of flowers using colorful duct tape and a few other simple materials in Duct Tape Flower Bouquet with Erika Arndt. You’ll make rose, chrysanthemum, and lily flowers to create your own bouquet.
Afternoon Session (1:00-3:30 PM):
Tuition: $176 Member/$220 Non-Member
- Days 1-4: Using coils and pinch pots, students will create their own handled cups in Pinch Pot Cups with Rhea O'Shion! Finishing the week with sgraffito (carve) designs to decorate the outside of our cups.
