Intro to Spoon Carving

Instructor: Erik Vevang

For the first part of class you will study safety, knife grips, and traditional techniques for carving. Then, apply what you have learned to transform the spoon blank provided into your completed spoon. You will finish the class with your own hand-carved serving spoon. Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting full of wood chips and closed-toe shoes. All tools and supplies provided.
