Jessica Turtle

Jessica Turtle is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, and educator in the Saint Croix Valley. Turtle is the Founder and Managing Director of the Natural Heritage Art Centre; a woman-owned rural arts center in the heart of the Saint Croix Valley.

Turtle's creative practices span a variety of media including drawing, painting, and sculpture. Her work explores many themes such as memory, pattern, nature, humor, and fairytales. Although most recognized for her vibrant palette and nature-inspired patterns, her work strongly advocates for wildlife and habitat restoration and communicates the inherent value and interdependence of all living and nonliving things.
