“Leila Deneke's knowledge of pottery is incredible.  Her instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on teaching is brilliant.  She is a real inspiration and master of clay.  What an incredible gem.” –Beyond the Basics: Wheel Throwing

“With each class I have taken with Leila Denecke I learn more technique, subtlety, and knowledge about all things clay than any classes, or apprenticeships I have been a part of.  Her knowledge, patience, temperament, and full understanding of pottery are incredible. Her instruction is spot on. It's just not about throwing pots, it's about understanding the possibility clay offers.” –Beyond the Basics: Wheel Throwing
