Yoga in the Gallery
Instructor: Shaila Cunningham
Step into a sanctuary of tranquility and elevate your midday break with our “Meditation in Motion” yoga class in WBCA’s Ford Family Gallery. This unique class blends mindful, purposeful movement with deep meditative practices, offering a powerful reset for your body and mind during the lunch hour.
Led by veteran instructor Shaila Cunningham of YogaHotDish, this class is designed for adults of all levels. While it’s not a gentle yoga class per se, it focuses on intentional movements that are safe and adaptable. The small class size is conducive to helping you find your optimal expression of the pose. Shaila’s approach is research-driven and results-oriented but without the risk of fast-paced routines so common in gym vinyasa yoga.
Experience notable benefits such as reduced back pain, stronger joints, greater mobility, and better balance. The gallery’s environment enhances your practice, making it an ideal setting to boost your energy, mood, and productivity so you can focus for the rest of your day. Join us in community for a revitalizing session that harmonizes movement with mindfulness, providing a dynamic way to enhance your well-being and stay centered amidst your busy schedule.
