Venetian Window Mosaics (FULL)

Have you ever been fascinated with ancient windows around the world? Now’s your chance to create your own mosaic replica complete with window ledges, shutters, flower pots, and even a clothesline. Using a photo as a reference, students will be guided through creating a framed realistic Venetian window mosaic from rocks, glass, dishes, and filati. Small details in micro mosaic require steady hands, good vision, and patience. If you have a special dish or plate that you would like to incorporate into your mosaic, please bring it.
