Founded in 1968, White Bear Center for the Arts (WBCA) is a non-profit community art center serving people of all abilities and generations. WBCA offers art classes, showcases exhibitions from a diverse range of artists, and connects the community to art resources.

Beth Lunsford

Beth is an intuitive watercolor artist and art teacher who sees art as a means of self-expression and healing, both for herself and for her students. Beth teaches classes in watercolor technique and color theory for adults and children, both in an elementary school and community education setting.

She has also expanded her love for layering from watercolors to mixed media and clay.

Jan Chamberlin

Jan Chamberlin has over thirty years of experience in dance. She studied ballet, modern, and jazz with teachers from the dance companies of New York City Ballet, Ballet Russe, Joffrey Ballet, Martha Graham, Lar Lubovitch, Merce Cunningham, Jose Limon, and various jazz masters including Luigi and Frank Hatchett.

She has performed and choreographed for various dance companies and regional theaters throughout New York and was an Adjunct Professor of Dance at Marymount Manhattan College.

Swetha Avula

Swetha Avula has a love for arts. Her studio allows her to continue working independently where she paints, and writes about painting. Her works are noticeable by their intense colors, detail, symbols and personal expression.

Fine art is her passion, she is an artist, teacher and founder of Acrylic Studio Art.
