Week Eight: August 7-10
Register for Imagine Art by week. You can register for a week of all morning classes, all afternoon classes, or both for a full week! To register for a full week, you must register for both the morning and afternoon session of a week. Please double check that it is the correct week and age level for your child before registering.

Grades 2-5:
Morning Session (9:30 AM-12:00 PM):
Tuition: $176 Member/$220 Non-Member
- Day 1: Come and be inspired by the artist Eric Carle in Monoprinting with Beth Lundsford. You'll learn how to use acrylic paint on a gelli plate and then transform them onto a collage.
- Day 2: Explore patterns and colors in Watercolor Oil and Pastels with Beth Lunsford. You'll go home with a frameable work of art!
- Day 3: Let’s make cards for birthdays, thank you or any occasion in Printmaking Cards with Pamela Hanson. Design, carve, ink and transfer images onto folded cardstock with matching envelopes.
- Day 4: We will be creating colorful happy paper for our skies in Tissue Paper Collage with Beth Lunsford and then use black paint to paint a tree or house or use your imagination!
FULL: Afternoon Session (1:00-3:30 PM)
Tuition: $176 Member/$220 Non-Member
- Days 1-4: Learn how to make animals out of clay in Pinch Pot Animals with Beth Lunsford! Think about your favorite animal and we will make it using pinch pots and slabs. Finish them with colorful glaze.
Grades 6-8:
Morning Session (9:30 AM-12:00 PM):
Tuition: $176 Member/$220 Non-Member
- Days 1-4: Green Puppeteering with Dawn Pape is perfect for kids who love to learn, create, perform, and make the world a better place. Participants get to help shape the funny and informative "Red Light, Green Light" script to better reflect the group's personality and sense of humor. Then, we'll create the sock puppets to star in the show. On the last day, we'll perform the puppet show for an audience.
Author and advocate Dawn Pape brings close to 30 years of experience in environmental outreach and education to her role as Executive Director of We All Need Food and Water. From helping schools develop nature areas on school grounds to working with 4 counties in her role at Rice Creek Watershed District. She founded the Blue Thumb-Planting for Clean Water® program, educated thousands of children through pollinator puppet shows, and her “Water Heroes” curriculum. Ms. Pape is passionate about meeting people where they are and building on others’ strengths to move toward a more sustainable, equitable, and loving world.
FULL: Afternoon Session (1:00-3:30 PM)

- Days 1-4: Learn how to create cups. bowls, plates, and more spun on the wheel in Youth Wheel Throwing with Tori Poeschl. This will be a beginners youth class to lay down a foundation of wheel throwing, trimming, and surface design.
