Chris Hansen

Chris received a BS in Applied Design from the University of Minnesota. Fascinated with how materials, tools, and surfaces work together, Chris has been creating and sharing her work for the past 10 years. A native of Minnesota, Chris and her family lived in California for 15 years where she began her painting and teaching adventures. When not painting or teaching classes, Chris spends time with their children and grandchildren, or exploring on the trails on bikes or cross country skis.

“Chris was knowledgeable, relaxed, and made the afternoon fun by teaching us many techniques and encouraging us to go beyond what she showed us in class.

Chris was very well prepared with all supplies laid on the tables before we arrived and sent a supply list after class so we could easily continue making cards at home. I will look for other classes taught by Chris, it was a lovely afternoon. Chris was excellent!” –Watercolor and Ink Painting

“I would enjoy another class by Chris. There was a special presence about her which connected her to each student personally.” –Watercolor and Ink Painting
