Frequently Asked Questions

To register for a class, search for the class ID, or browse classes at WhiteBearArts.org/classes

Once you click "register" on the class listing, it will take you to the registration and login page. If you know your login information, login there. If you don't have an account with us (i.e. you've never taken a class or attended an event with us) then create an account, and come back to that login page.

If you already have an account with us (i.e. you've signed up for a class over the phone or purchased a membership) but have not logged in on our website before, put your email in the "Forgot Your Password" box and follow the instructions to create a login. If you have an account, it will automatically recognize it if you use the same email address associated with your account.

Once you are logged in, you can register and pay the class tuition if applicable. You will receive a confirmation email shortly after registering, where you can double check that all of the information is correct.

If your class is virtual, you will receive the Zoom link in your confirmation email. If your class is in-person, verify the time and date. Once you arrive for class, we have staff that can direct you to the correct classroom.

We get that question a lot!

We try to offer a variety of classes for a wide range of skill levels to cater to those who are just looking for a creative break in their everyday lives, to hobbyists and even emerging and established artists. While we believe you should trust your comfort level, our general rule is that once you've taken one beginner/introductory class, you're ready to move on up!

If you're still not sure when you're ready to move on to the next skill level, check out our suggested skill levels below to help guide your arts journey.

ALL LEVELS: All students from beginner to advanced are welcome. The teaching artist provides balanced and responsive instruction suitable for participants at any experience level.

BEGINNING 1: Students have little to no experience with the medium and would like step-by-step instruction throughout class. Teaching artists will cover the basics of the medium.

BEGINNING 2: Students have some experience, having taken at least one class in this medium. Teaching artists will provide guidance during class, and students will continue to learn the foundations of the medium.

INTERMEDIATE: Students are comfortable with the medium. They will receive some guidance from the teaching artist, as well as time to work on their own.

ADVANCED: Students have taken multiple classes in the medium and are confident in their abilities. Students are self-motivated and interested in developing their artistic voice.
