Featured Artist

Coralette Damme

Coralette Damme has built a reputation as a printmaker using the moniker The Crafty Hag. She has two decades of printmaking experience and is a beloved WBCA teaching artist.

After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, she moved to the Twin Cities and fell in love with the North Woods. After a 20-year stint in Florida, she moved back to St. Paul in 2020. In every place she’s lived, she’s enjoyed the native plants and animals that thrive there and the folklore that celebrates each region's unique history.

Coralette's "SWOON," a collection of linocuts inspired by hours spent observing nature, the sensation of being immersed in the woods, and the joy of losing oneself in the details of a garden, is on view in the Community Hallway through the end of April.
