INTO NATURE Awards Ceremony Video

“May these images transport you out of isolation, into our big, beautiful, precious world. May they blow the winds through your rooms, spill sunshine across your floors, and wash your soul with the spaciousness and fleeting essence captured only in plein air. May you feel the strength and love for life, as a gift to you, from these artists.”

Suzi Hudson, WBCA Executive Director

Into Nature is a groundbreaking exhibition, including works by some of the best Plein Air painters alive today. It is exciting to see the quality and range represented by these artists, responding to WBCA’s call for work made since March 2020. The intention of Into Nature was to support artists during a time when there were fewer opportunities and to reflect if there were any differences in paintings made during a time of indoor living and travel restrictions.”

Danielle Cézanne, WBCA Gallery Director

“In this sad time it’s wonderful to page through the catalog and dream of seeing the actual pieces.” -Deb M.

For optimal viewing quality, this exhibition is downloadable as a PDF. Note that at 31MB, slow connections will experience a short wait for the file.
