Into Nature Jr. is a youth plein air exhibition celebrating the beauty of a Minnesota summer through the eyes of young artists ages 6-16. Kids are encouraged to paint or draw outside. It can be in their backyard, at a local park, or even on the campus of WBCA.

What is plein air? It's a French term meaning "in the open air." Which just means it's a fun way of making art outside. Artists who paint en plein air work outdoors, capturing the beauty of nature at that moment.

Registration dates: May 1-May 30, 2026

Participation dates: June 6–July 16, 2026

Guidelines and registration details coming soon.
