Soap Making

Join John Hanson, Owner/Maker of Longfellow Soap Company, to learn how to make soap using the cold process method that has existed for thousands of years. Each student will receive a copy of his teaching manual that includes an ingredient list, equipment list, his recipe, method for making soap, soap to take home, and sources for essential oil, ingredients, and equipment. You will also receive a silicone mold to make your own soap for holiday gifts or personal use! This is a lecture/demonstration class as lye is used and it is caustic. Bring from home: Apron
