This class presents acrylic and oil painting materials, paint, mediums, tools/brushes, substrates/surfaces, and their use and care. In addition to the practical use of these materials, we will also discuss their meanings, the creation of visual metaphors, and how these materials can communicate so much. The instructor will have materials on-hand, however bring your oil and/or acrylic painting supplies, if you have some.
