The rough-out for this workshop will be a Chris Hammack designed roughout. Emphasis will be on the proper setting up and carving of a person in a setting. A completed piece will be available as an example.

Bring from home: SHARP set of hand carving tools, safety gloves, normal run of gouges, veneers, and knives that you are comfortable using (no power tools).
