Meet The Judges

Tadhg Bio Pic (1)

Tadhg Silvius Vinson is an artist and storyteller living in Minneapolis. He is a two-time graduate from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and majored in both Comic Art '11 and Creative Leadership '24. Tadhg is deeply influenced by classical music, modern dance, prose writing, and conceptual art, and is always trying to merge these interests into his storytelling practice. Genre-blending in both story and medium is what drives him as a creative.  You'll find him asking, 'Is this a comic?' while viewing a stack of boxes in a corner.

Over time, his work has become more honest, shaped by both skill and a clearer sense of what matters to him. Jadoonath first encountered pottery in 1996 at Bemidji State University and was drawn to the material and Minnesota’s craft tradition. His studio practice has moved from St. Paul to his current home studio in Shafer, Minnesota, where he also helps organize events like the Backyard Sale and the St. Croix Valley Pottery Tour with his family. As he puts it, “Fun is always the goal.
