Spend a morning taking advantage of our easy-lift raku kiln and dry-stack smoke kiln. Bring up to four bisque-fired pieces (no more than 7 to 12 inches tall) ready for decorative firing using low fire or raku glazes, naked crackle slip, horse hair, and feathers. There will be an information session approximately 4 weeks before the firing to answer any questions and to review available materials. This is intended for people with some clay experience. There will only be one instructor for the firing, so be prepared to load or unload your own work. Natural fabric, full coverage clothing, and closed-toed shoes are required.
Info Session: Friday, Aug 21, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
