Instructor: Suzann Beck

Some of the most beautiful classical figure drawings are created with Sanguine, a drawing medium artists have used for centuries to create rich, reddish-warm tones in their artwork. This class will walk you through basic principles of constructive anatomy and demonstrate a technique using Sanguine, brushes, white chalk, and reductive drawing to create elegant figures.

The first segment of the class will focus on construction with hands-on work from a “modest” figure model, while the second segment will focus on developing a figure drawing from start to finish with a “modest” figure model.
