2025 Vision & Verse Writing Contest

The Vision & Verse High School Writing Contest, previously known as the WriteNow! Competition is an annual, juried writing competition open to all Northeast Metro Area students in grades 9-12. Students submit original, creative writing across several different categories like poetry, short stories, creative nonfiction, and more. Selected students from both the Vision & Verse visual arts and writing contests are featured in the "Vision & Verse Exhibition" and are eligible for a chance to be published in “Repose,” WBCA’s annual student literary magazine published by White Bear Center for the Arts.
