Julie Luna
Julie is an artist who uses multiple mediums, including fabrics that she hand-dyes, thread, and found objects. She stitches her pieces by hand, connecting her to all the women who use fibers as an expression of their creativity. Julie’s art blossoms from a deep well of feelings, prayers, instincts, and sensations—a place where the Spirit resides and urges her to express the Divine within. Her pieces reflect the constant process of transformation, guided by the Spirit that takes place in nature and within herself and her communities. Julie especially enjoys working with groups to gently nudge them in their own expression of the Divine light that resides within all. She lives in Stillwater, Minnesota, with her husband, two dogs, one cat, and four chickens.
