1:30pm: Gallery talk by Lake Country Pastel Society

2:00pm: Pollinator Friendly Gardening – Gardening for Pollinators, Bees, Butterflies & Other Pollinators.

Rhonda Fleming Hayes is an award-winning author and photographer. She is a member of the Garden Writers Association and has won two Garden Writers Association Silver Medals has won two Garden Writers Association Awards Silver Medals. Rhonda is a member of the Herb Society of America, the Xerces Society, the Minnesota State Horticultural Society, and she is also a trustee of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

Her book will be available for purchase.

3:30pm: Make and Take Bee Bomb Event

Bee Bombs are wildflower seeds and soil encased in a clay ball. Learn how to create a gift for our pollinator and bird friends. We call these little balls of clay “bombs” because when they are dispersed, they will literally explode with beautiful wild flowers.
