This is a chance for teens to get together and be creative in a relaxed, instructor-led environment. Bring your own art projects to work on, or try a new art project introduced each month. Materials are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own.

Come hang with fellow writers, talk about the writing process, get inspiration, and write! Each session will start with a writing prompt and discussing a facet of creative writing. Bring something to write with. This is a safe, supportive environment for teens to explore creative writing without judgment.

Have you ever wanted to make a comic book? A zine? Or just tell a story? Comics are more than drawings of muscular superheroes and words. Sequential art tells a story with imagery, text, shape, color, contrast, and composition. Learn the building blocks of composing a comic story and characters.
