What catches a viewer’s eye from across the room? Usually, a mastering of the five elements of a painting: composition, value, color, edges, and detail. But, it’s poetic expression that causes a viewer to linger. Learn to incorporate both through this three-day workshop with visiting artist Farley Lewis.
Whether you are fairly new to painting or you’ve been painting for years, learn the elements and poetic creative approaches to brushwork. Each day begins with a teaching and demonstration, then you’ll work on your own paintings with help of personalized instruction. Best for acrylic and oil painters.
