Get ready for a hands-on journey into the world of leatherworking. Explore the fundamentals of leather—from selecting the right hide and mastering essential tools to learning core techniques such as planning, cutting, stitching, and finishing. You’ll make coasters to showcase all the techniques you’ve learned to not only produce simple works, but also help build the skills to produce more complex pieces. You’ll leave the class with two coasters and a full set of tools to get you started on your leatherworking journey.
