Shibori is a Japanese technique that involves folding, twisting, or bunching cloth and then binding it to create brilliant patterns when dyed. In this class, you will learn a variety of these folding techniques. You will use wood boards, clips, rubber bands, and other items to fold fabric into different shapes and create resists. Then you will dip the fabric into indigo dye and watch the pattern develop as it hits the air. You will be amazed at all the incredible patterns you can create!
