Shibori is a Japanese technique that involves folding, twisting, or bunching cloth and then binding it to create brilliant patterns when dyed. Learn a variety of these folding techniques using wood boards, clips, rubber bands, and other items to fold fabric into different shapes and create resist. Then, dip the fabric into indigo dye and watch the pattern develop as it hits the air. You will be amazed at all the incredible patterns you can create! Wear clothes that can get messy. Feel free to being extra small items to dye like t-shirts or baby onesies!
