Continue your exploration of greenwood spoon carving and review safety, knife grips, and proper technique. Bring in spoons you’ve previously carved or projects to work on. Discuss spoon design and layout, finishing cuts, and sharpening tools. This is a student-directed class, and topics of interest can be discussed. Tools and supplies will be available to start a new spoon carving project or continue an old one. Wear comfortable clothes that can get full of wood chips and closed-toe shoes.
