Illuminated Clay: Carved Votives

Transform a simple cylinder into a glowing masterpiece in this workshop focused on decorative piercing and carving techniques. You’ll learn to create consistent, structural cylinders, how to identify the perfect leather-hard stage for clean, burr-free carving, and explore glaze options that break over carved edges to highlight your patterns. Glazing will be done on your own, either during your other class time or in an open studio.
