Drum Making

Instructor: Lisa Moriarty
The drum symbolizes the heartbeat of the earth, life, and community. Not only does the sound of a drum move our spirit with its calming vibrations, but the beat is in tune with the earth’s natural frequency. Making a personal frame drum is a meaningful journey. Made out of natural materials: a wooden frame, deer-hide circle, and rawhide lacing, you’ll be led through the process as you connect and honor the sources of these materials.
