Drawing With Clay

Do you like making shapes in clay? Are you interested in surface design? Explore ways to build the surface of your clay shapes with narratives, motifs, and mark-making. Construct shapes that influence your design, then enhance them through carving, painting, and drawing. Projects will be introduced to encompass a variety of clay building preferences; wheel-throwing is not required, and getting out of your comfort zone will be encouraged. A basic understanding of clay properties and construction is required.
