Do you like making shapes in clay? Are you interested in surface design? Explore ways to build the surface of your clay shapes with narratives, motifs, and mark-making. Construct shapes that influence your design, then enhance them through carving, painting, and drawing. Projects will be introduced to encompass a variety of clay building preferences; wheel-throwing is not required, and getting out of your comfort zone will be encouraged.
