Themed Studio Weeks
June 1-28, 2026
In the Ford Family Gallery
This summer, we’re trying something new in the Ford Family Gallery! The space will come alive with themed studio weeks, transforming the gallery into both an art-making and exhibition space. Each week offers a different way to engage—whether through an open community project or hands-on workshops—with the added excitement of seeing the work you created on display in the gallery.
Week 1: Drop in Community Collage Studio
June 1–6
The first week of June, the gallery will become an open studio space for community members to drop in and contribute to a growing collaborative community collage. Contribute to the final product at Summer Community Day on June 6.
Monday-Saturday, June 1-6,
Drop in hours: 9:00 AM-4:00 PM
No registration required
All Ages, All Levels
Week 2: Fiber Flowers, “Watch ‘Em Grow...”
June 8–12
Create fiber flowers with a new technique each day. Flowers will be added to a temporary gallery installation and will be on display from June 13-June 20. After flowers are picked up, the environmentally friendly installation will be moved outside for the birds to enjoy.
Week 3: “Windows of My Wandering” Mosaic Studios
June 23–26
Spend time creating your own Venetian Window Mosaics, complete with bricks, ledges, shutters, flower pots, and vines. A student reception wraps up the week, with artwork on display in the Ford Family Gallery from June 27–July 11.
