I am doing research on having a pencil/charcoal drawing done of my husband. He has a military photo, which has resided in his wallet behind plastic for years and the photo is in poor condition. This is the photo (Headshot of a Marine) that I am interested in having done as a 8×10 or little larger. I do have a much better quality image (headshot) of him at about the same age. I do not know much about this art medium so I do not know what is possible. Also, I am not very knowledgeable about pricing.
Is this possible? Is this something you could do or do you know a good source to contact?
My brother-in-law did some digital restoration but I am not totally happy with the end results of that process.
