Read a poem, write a poem. Explore a few works by known poets, including Emily Dickinson, who has much to teach us about craft, subject, and more. Then write a poem inspired by them, whether in tone, style, form, or theme. Handouts will be provided. Perfect for those who love poetry but haven’t tried writing yet, as well as seasoned poets looking to create four new pieces.
