Discover the art of silver jewelry making without the need for traditional metalsmithing tools. In this hands-on beginner class, students will explore the fascinating world of silver clay—a versatile material that transforms into 99.9% pure silver when fired. This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in creating custom rings, pendants, earrings, or small sculptural pieces.
Each participant will receive 10 grams of silver clay, which is enough to craft a couple of small, one-of-a-kind pieces. Written course materials and resources for continuing education will also be provided.
Students will learn about the various forming, texturing, and finishing techniques to bring their own designs to life. No previous jewelry or clay experience is necessary.
