Beginning Pastel Painting
Instructor: Wendy Peterson
Through a combination of lecture, demonstration and plenty of hands-on painting time, you will learn the four basic stages of the pastel painting process: planning, foundation/underpainting, developing your painting and evaluating and problem solving. In this session, we will focus on developing your painting, including staying true to our intention, developing your style through color and mark-making and a discussion about edges. Class size is limited to allow for plenty of one-on-one guidance.
