In "A Culture of Pots 2025," WBCA brings the exquisite ceramic works of the St. Croix Valley Pottery Tour to White Bear Lake.

The show will feature works from artists participating in the 33rd Annual St. Croix Valley Pottery Tour in May 2025.

An annual tour of pottery studios located in the St. Croix Valley, the St. Croix Valley Pottery Tour is a tradition dating back to 1993. Visitors travel from studio to studio throughout the weekend, enjoying the hospitality of the potters, and shopping their collections.

Visitors to WBCA's "A Culture of Pots 2025" will get to experience that magic in an intimate gallery setting.

The name "A Culture of Pots" was the title for the Weisman Art Museum’s 2017 anniversary project which produced a beautiful and inspiring book. The book, along with the ambiance of the tour, will serve as the aesthetic for this exhibition. Sawhorse tables and rustic signs will be the motif, and each participating artist will have the opportunity to display a small collection of their finest works. Works will be for sale, and purchases will be available for pick up after the show has concluded.
