High School Visual Arts and WriteNow! Exhibition
The High School Visual Arts Contest is back for its 9th year. This annual contest and exhibit features the artwork of students in grades 9-12 in the Northeast Metro region of the Twin Cities, in media from painting, photography, sculpture, and more.
The WriteNow! High School Writing Contest has been a part of White Bear Center for the Arts’ legacy for nearly 40 years. WriteNow! is a juried writing competition also open to all students grades 9-12 in the Northeast Metro area. Students submit original, creative writing across several different categories like poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and more. There is NO cost to enter. This is a juried art show with cash awards, publication opportunities, and other prizes, and the show will be displayed professionally in WBCA’s Ford Family Gallery and Exhibition Hall.
This year, we invite you to celebrate the intersection of visual and written creativity side-by-side in this exhibition.
