Working quickly with just a few colors, the Impressionist painters were able to capture their subjects. Through observation and practice, we will discover how the Impressionist painters used color to capture light, atmosphere, movement, and mood. Students will explore the color palettes and techniques of different Impressionist painters. Due to the pace of activities, it is recommended that all students work in watercolor.
