W5L6 – Introduction to Visual Journaling Workshop

In this half-day workshop you’ll discover the basics of visual journaling. Visual journaling is a reflective creative process that involves exploring concepts, ideas, and thoughts visually in order to understand, create, or express personal meaning. Instead of written entries, visual journals contain drawings, sketches, hand lettering, doodles, or even clippings of photographs and magazine cutouts. In this class you’ll learn and play with various approaches to visual journaling. An experienced and supportive artist will help get you started on your own journal that you’ll take home to continue your unique creative journey of artistic play, expression, and self-discovery!
