Visible Mending: Intro to Sashiko

In this workshop we will talk about, and get hands-on with the traditional Japanese mending technique Boro Boro or Sashiko stitching. Bring a piece of clothing that needs some TLC, or simply learn the technique with the materials provided at the workshop. Anything from a pair of jeans with a rip to a jacket that you just want to add some personality to, you’ll learn how to mend and explore sustainability in a creative fashion!
