TP14 – Creative Handbuilding with Templates

This artist-led workshop will include conversation, discussion, and hands-on learning. Each session Eileen will share an aspect of her own artistic journey from her own studio practice to her work as an exhibitions coordinator and educator. Students will be introduced to the foundations of slab construction using paper templates as a starting point. We’ll review the basics of pinch and coil to support and expand your slab projects. Intermediate level students may bring their own project ideas. Templates will include a variety of functional shapes and forms.
