Outsider artists lack formal training, yet somehow they manage to produce amazing work. In this lecture, former professor Steve Schroer will present images of drawings, paintings, sculptures, and buildings created by outsider artists. He will try to explain the appeal of this kind of art, and will share his story of a personal encounter with the legacy of Henry Darger.
