Papercutting for Stress Reduction

Papercutting is a simple art or craft that can be done with just a few materials, which makes it an excellent medium for a mindful art practice. In this class, we’ll learn cutting techniques and tips for caring for your body as you’re focused on small detail work over time. Learn a practice of cutting repetitive shapes that produces beautiful pieces and helps slow the mind!

Supply List:

  • X-acto or Excel Knife and replacement blades (#11 recommended)
  • Drawing paper 114 GSM – 135 GSM (Strathmore drawing, 70 lb or Leigion Stonehenge Light are great options)
  • Self-Healing Cutting Mat (Alvin is a great brand)
