P2O6 – Landscape Painting from Photos

This workshop will focus on painting landscapes from a photo reference. Emphasis will be on understanding value and color–what your eyes see in nature vs. how a photo is printed or backlit on a screen. You’ll practice how you start your painting, brushwork, and emphasizing/subordinating the elements of your scene.
