Continuing Stamp Carving

Instructor: Coralette Damme

Build upon the basic skills learned in the introduction to stamp carving session and get more involved with design. Use linocut tools to carve a new rubber stamp and explore ways to enhance it with additional stamps and layers. We’ll introduce color to make your designs really pop! Arrive with an idea that would be appropriate for a 3”x4” rubber stamp. In this class you will have an opportunity to carve more than one stamp so some prior carving experience is helpful to make the most of your time. We’ll spend less time on basic instruction and more time experimenting with the process. Tools will be available to use during class, but you’re welcome to bring your own as well. Use your new stamps to create cards that you can send to friends!
