Across the globe, the spoken word movement has reignited poetry as a force for artistic expression, critical dialogue, and community. Join two-time National Poetry Slam champion Kyle “Guante” Tran Myhre for a performance featuring poems his new book, “Not a Lot of Reasons to Sing, but Enough”, published by Button Poetry. The evening will also include a Q&A session as well as a dialogue about the relationship between creativity and building social movements and narrative as a force for social change.
